Where have all the flowers gone(?), long time pass
Post# of 146
Where has all the money gone? Mostly to the upper floors making the structure top-heavy. You don’t need to be an engineer to know what happens next. Talking heads talk it to death, hoping for the very things that are physically and fiscally impossible. You can hear the fear and dread if you ‘listen’. People have been, and are, so terrified of what will happen next their only reaction is no action at all. Denial of reality by militantly conforming to the ‘status quo’. Ridicule all that challenges the ‘status quo’. In this dangerous environment all manner of threats fill the void. Frozen w/ fear is a real reaction. It does actually happen. Overcoming it in real time is an experience you will never, ever forget. The threat is real and now. How will you react? The following link is the Peter, Paul, & Mary version of “Where have all the Flowers Gone?”. Timely, poignant, and sadly, mostly forgotten.

This was in the mid sixties and today is 2024; nearly 60 yrs later. What has happened in the interim? Times are a changin’, I get that. But some virtues and values do not change and this is what we must cling to and defend. You need a solid ground floor you can depend on. The venerable Warren Buffet said to invest in what you understand. Sage advice. I won’t claim to know all the ins and outs of Recombinant Spider Silk but I sure as hell understand it a whole lot better than Artificial Intelligence (AI), for example.
Investing used to be in actual things and products. It seemed to work pretty well. We understood and related to steel mills, carmakers, real estate and appliances. Then computers came along and for a while an investment in Apple did pretty well. Now, it’s off-shoring investment trusts putting retirement accounts into digital marketing, hedge funds, cultural influencers and artificial intelligence. Presumed utopian scenarios that scares the living bejesus out of most everybody w/ an IQ above room temperature. The following link is a longish read about the outlandish bullshit we call “Artificial Intelligence”; creating a better world for … who or what? I don’t know and I read the whole thing. The AI advocates are selling paper windmills in an unpredictable and unstable world full of gale-force winds. Batten down the hatches, the lunatics are coming.

Kraig Biocraft is making real, actual silk material. We are not making large batches of liquid goo for ugly neckties or limited edition parkas. We are the very anti-thesis of the Goober-Meisters (GMs). The GMs have convinced oodles of investors to dump in 100s of millions of dollars. Check out BSLK, https://ih.advfn.com/stock-market/NASDAQ/bolt...streaming; YTD $7 —> $0.46; ’nuff sed. Those investors, and the retail investors, should have known better. They DID NOT heed the sage advice of Warren Buffet, much to their chagrin and detriment. Way too many companies are existing on vapors. Invest in something real and forget the vaporware. Reverse the BSLK graph and that is us in the not-so-distant future. Just desserts, I say.
