Blocking the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) is a potential strategy to reduce the risk of Zika virus (ZIKV) infection in a fetus:
FcRn and ZIKV:
FcRn is a receptor found in placental cells that helps mediate viral infections. ZIKV and its envelope immunogen can enter and be transferred across placental cells that express FcRn.

Other strategies to neutralize the Zika virus include:
Using monoclonal antibodies such as EDE1-C10, EDE1-C8, or SlgN-3C
Using the pseudo-broad antibody MZ4

Haven't looked @ these Mab's yet & forget which one our LL-PLS said was very toxic & still failed to block Zika
