Anyone who's been paying attention to recent elections would have noticed that the results have been tightening over the past few elections where many Taiwanese citizens, fearing a Chinese incursion, are now moving towards reunification.
IMO its simply a matter of time before this eventually happens with the pro-CCP party assuming power because the alternative for Taiwan and China will be horrific in terms of the inevitable loss of life, in addition to the Global consequences that could result, ie as you stated, WWIII.
Maybe our freshly minted Taiwanese resident could expound a bit more on this issue.
Honestly, the hilarity from that joker is simply too much at times. lololololololololololssssssssss
