CNS Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: CNSP), a biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development of novel treatments for primary and metastatic cancers in the brain and central nervous system, today released its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2024 (“Q2 2024”). The company also discussed the clinical development progress of Berubicin, its lead program, and TPI 287, its recently in-licensed abeotaxane for the treatment of brain malignancies. The financial results for Q2 2024 included a net loss of approximately $2.5 million compared to approximately $4.0 million for the comparable period in 2023, R&D expenses of $1.1 million for Q2 2024 versus approximately $2.8 million for Q2 2023, and general and administrative expense of $1.4 million for Q2 2024 compared to approximately $1.2 million for Q2 2023. As of June 30, 2024, CNS Pharmaceuticals had cash of approximately $1.5 million. In addition, the company has raised total gross proceeds of approximately $12.4 million in financing between June 30, 2024, and August 14, 2024.
