I don't track the SISTER SHELLE continuously but can see that the boat was docked just outside the Nome inner harbor at 1300 Zulu or 8 am CDT Sunday morning CDT - that's 5 am local time in Nome. That was the last position report - they could have arrived earlier than that but they are in Nome after leaving False Pass on Wednesday evening.
Not crazy about the entire Alaksan attempt - how many years and how many millions = unknown? Glad they made it safely from the Sacramento River to Nome and especially that last leg across the Bering Sea.
They left False Pass in the Aleutians Wednesday evening and arrived Nome I will estimate late Sat night or early Sunday morning. Approx 800 nm at 8 kts comes out to 3.6 days and that's about what they accompllished.

From that sea state, today, Sunday, I'm guessing the crew was glad to get off that boat before embarking back out to dredge gold.
