come on....we know it's coming...
as for the 6-10 years. If I were told by someone to invest chump change to have muti millions of shares - Which I didn't btw. I paid pennies. and tell me the only condition is that I will have to wait - with no specific timeline but that he's embarking on a major overhaul that will change the landscape for generations to come followed by becoming generational wealthy....? hmm....
The problem for many stems from working or not working at a specific job or career and someone said you won't have to once my ticket comes in - all will prosper. that set the stage for high expectation. With that also comes high disappointment if there are delays or seemingly no follow through.
what transpired along the way is people adjusted their lifestyles work etc with the anticipation things were going to happen sooner then later. This is the mistake many make. As a result many have to sell their shares; get additional employment or get reemployed sadly some passed away..we then project blame because someone didn't come through with their promise at the time.
but who's fault is was it really?
I only got disappointed once when we all thought DE was coming through for us in 2022. After that. I changed my approach to this whole thing. The issue wasn't the delay the issue was more month at the end of the money.
Did I extend myself too far? you bet...Am I handling this decision...yup...Am I bitching...nope. Cause that's the risk I was willing to take. I don't talk badly behind Docs back. we might joke around but we are a very select few to have this opportunity fall into our laps.
it's not about circumstances....it's about how one can handle and adapt to them. I try and remind myself daily of how grateful I am for everything I have in my life...sometimes the things I don't like as hard as that is...LMAO!
