Chazzle, It's hard for me to type with all of my d

For me, the last info letter to shareholders pushed the timeline down the road, and I had a temper tantrum because of that reset. I got over it, adjusted mentally and got the deposit and earnest money back from the beach house deal. I felt better after the conference call led by Dr. J. He's doing the scientific blocking and tackling that should have been done long ago. I imagine he started in and said, hey why haven't we (published) told the world about our results? He mentioned so many different therapeutic areas that have been mumbled about on this board- Cancer, HIV-HIV Prep, Inflammation, NASH-now called MASH, etc. We had all previously wondered, whatever happened to those data and these data? He gave great info on that.
Somewhere during that call, he said, paraphrasing, oh, and we've downsized our workforce/payroll by some large xx%. That bothered me. Why does the science guy have to be the one to come in and clean house, to right size the staffing levels?
Tanya used nearly every superlative known to humankind in her announcement of Cyrus the great's hiring. She and C Arman were "all hands on deck" in the effort to get the hold lifted (can't remember if they also said 'leaving no stone unturned'), even though Dr. J came in at the end and saw that wow, we are overstaffed. We burned cash during those couple years when nothing was happening except for making payroll. I don't know what value C Arman adds to the company currently, but I'll just trust Dr. J. I like him. I'd be fine if he does more housecleaning.
BTW, are nautical references so common on this board because Dr. J still lives in his floating SF area home? (...Captain, at the helm, right the ship, rising tide...)
