way off topic...but that is an very incorrect assumption. Plenty of very good wines under $20 and probalbly even more wines over $20 that aren't even close to delivering any quality for the money.
Find the local wine shop with a clerk who knows something about wine and you will be able to walk away with a nice 12 bottle case for $200.
I had 2 wonderful wines from Uraguay last night--both retaining for $18ish. I would put them up against 95=% of the CA wines in that price range and they would win. Just have to expand the horizons in the wine world.
By the way--thanks to all of the people who know how the human body works vis a vis LL. I really have no idea about that, but when we get into wine----it's been my business since 1991 and I have tasted 10,000+ wines over the years so can help with that.
Hopefully it is a bit of fun talking wine while we wait for the great LL happenings.
