Looks like the UK has its own FDA-like problems with Big Pharma managing to get their claws in where they shouldn't. UK just decided to provide the Pfizer RSV vaccine rather than the GSK vaccine, even though the GSK is significantly more effective and is not an mRNA vaccine so very well might have a more durable response (as some studies already have shown).
GSK is also a UK company. Seems like a kinda weird choice of where to send UK money, huh?
I was in the clinical trial for the GSK vaccine. No significant side effects.
