The reason I took exception to your recession comment is that your entire post is based on the recession. Sentiment, from the Fed Chair down, do not believe a recession is the cards for the foreseeable future.
Economic Recession & SNPW
The upcoming recession that most economists if not all are talking about is going to be a bad one. I don’t want to say those words (on how bad), because they are scary at least to me as an ordinary person. This company (SNPW) is in the business of basic solar equipment. I don’t know what will happen to fossil fuel based utilities in a severe economic meltdown. I was involved in the utilities industry as an economist for several years in the past. In a normal economic cycle especially in a booming economy, a 10% return is lucrative; however, in a severe economic recession, when millions won’t pay the bills, it’s a different story! I’m impressed with Mr. Nicholas Campanella’s business model and strategy. As a bonus, both governments in Australia and the U.S. are ready to spend tens of billions in the same category where SNPW is involved. Make your decision based on what is expected in the future and not what happened in the past!
