The Clean Energy Council is updating our PV Module application requirements to the 2021 version of the IEC 61215 Standards series. PV Modules that do not comply with the new Standard after 1 October 2024 will not be considered CEC approved . Check product nameplate label for which version of IEC 61215 the PV Modules are certified to.

GEP approved modules are set to expire 9/30/24. Which means that do not meet requirements to the 2021 version of the IEC 61215 Standards series. Otherwise, they would have been approved on June 14, 2024 to expire on June 14, 2027 like most of the well known company's modules listed as approved by the Clean Energy Council on their website. Please do the due diligence and check the companies' approved modules with expiration dates.
Why waste the time to get solar module standards, expiring on 9/30/24, approved on June 14, 2024? Why not get the GEP PV Module application requirements updated to the 2021 version of the IEC 61215 Standards series before applying using the soon-to-be outdated version of the IEC?
There's a chance GEP Vietnam solar modules, sitting in mystery warehouses for any company to peck away at, will be rotting away, not meeting the required 2021 version of the IEC 61215 Standards series.
Lots more due diligence coming out from Australia solar industry contacts.
Please correct Karma's due diligence if she's incorrect. I will let her know she's wrong.
in my opinion
