I believe you are right. Primary brain tumors are more rare, usually brain tumors represent seeding from another primary site, often the lung. While there is a moderate increased risk of GBM in women with TNBC…higher risk of age under 45…most likely these were secondary tumors, but I don’t really know, I am operating on anecdotes perhaps from company comments a while back. I would be interested in published details. TNBC is a very high CCR5 expressing tumor so the probability of metastasis is higher and I stand corrected unless someone is aware of any published data on that subset either from the basket trial or the TNBC/carboplatin study.
