I have been posting here, off and on, for 11+ years. Today’s PR is the culmination of countless highs and lows w/ this company. After reading the PR, I didn’t scream and shout, do the ‘dance’, or jump outta my chair in exultation. No, I sat back w/ an easy calmness, not b/c I expected it to happen eventually, but b/c it has been such a journey. The destination is satisfying, for sure, but it’s the looking back that adds so much context to fully appreciate the accomplishment. For some reason, the sky is bluer, the grass is greener, the air is cleaner. The juice is definitely worth the squeeze. And I feel pretty damn good right about now.
This PR means ONE thing. We have a CUSTOMER !!! We are not producing (aaahhhhh!, has a nice ring to it.) in the hope we can unload it on eBay. No, we are producing (aaaaaahhhh!, that word again!) b/c someone signed a contract to produce (aaaaaahhhhh!, that word again.) Recombinant Spider Silk. Did I happen to mention it is so unique that no one else in the world is able to produce (aaaaaahhhhh!, that word again) it? And this 10x business. Let’s say that last production run produced (aaaaahhhhh!, that word again.) one 25kg hank. Then 10x is 250kg; that’s one quarter metric tonne, at a minimum! Multiples? And how far along are we?
So, who might be noticing this worldwide distributed PR? The customer for one and the entire textile industry, the US Gov’t, & Cambodia, Yo, Spiber, AMSilk, BOLT. How yooz guys doin’? Oh, too right, the investors of Spiber, AMSilk, BOLT might be a tad bit interested. Ya think???
Some people need a refresher course in who it is exactly that is leading this company. Read the following very carefully. Then again, for good measure. This company is at the very earliest stages of becoming revenue positive. Enough hints have been dropped since Dec. 2023 that doubting what is coming down the pike is absurd and nonsensical. It won’t stop you idiots, of course, but there is no excuse for combative name-calling and accusing the CEO of malfeasance, to name one. I hope the CEO comes after you guys for your libelous comments, over the years. Tread carefully … or not. Like the snarling’bee-otches’ you are, please continue, as you will most assuredly drown in your own pettiness and jealousy.
Remember, this is the guy negotiating the contracts and making the deals. And he's on our team.
