The GOP Quandary
If your time is short: The GOP and Trump built themselve a giant subway-shit sandwich and now they all have to take a bite.
Republicans have painted themselves into a corner. They have no one to blame but themselves. They have put our nation on the edge of a crisis when they had every opportunity to prevent it.
Now, they are wringing their hands and blaming others that when their Convention is held on July 11th, they may have to nominate a convicted felon as their nominee. It did not have to be that way.
They are screaming and running around with their hair on fire, blaming the Democrats because their "nominee" has just been found guilty by a jury of his peers in New York City. Who else can they blame?
The Democratic Party did not want this trial in New York City. They wanted a trial in Washington, DC on the election fraud and fake electors. They wanted a trial in Florida about the stolen military secrets and obstruction of the FBI in retrieving them, but they were blocked and delayed at every turn. The GOP had no problem with those at all. They said nothing and they did nothing. Just as they did nothing when the criminal was impeached two times, the second time after inciting a riot and attempting a coup to stay in power. If they want to know who is to blame for their present predicament, let them look in the mirror. What they might see is a disgrace to our nation.
So now, they are crying about what others have done to them. They did it to themselves and they are deserving of whatever comes their way.
