for us, my gut is, if the call is anything short of a partnership, we fall back down again - because that assumption is what drove us up 100% in a matter of days. If it's an imminent partnership with a decent partner, we hold or maybe drift up a bit. If they hit us with something beyond expectations, like a partnership that's done with a very reputable BP or biotech, we'll be at .50 or higher next week - and the climb will start. And of course if there is any gravy (all of the above +Amarex settlement update that's super positive, some other development, etc.), then maybe we hit a buck next week.
Under promise and over-deliver - maybe the best piece of advice i ever received when starting out in the business world. not many companies do it well, and historically (as Normy has pointed out) this company has struggled to do that, which is why the pattern surrounding calls has been what is has been. I hope today breaks that pattern.
So, I'm hopeful we get scenario 2 (meet) or 3 (beat). We'll know soon enough.
