Hawks, you do realize I have no clue exactly where you live or just how safe it may or may not be. It is the typical posting referencing some of the pit falls involving Illinois and nothing more nor personal.
As for these guns and other weapons they are safe until one decides to pull the trigger. As I have mentioned many times once a trigger is pressed and the lead leaves the muzzle there is no turning back. Many that are desperate see no other answer as death is at a moments notice as one decides to flip a coin and wonder if it will be heads or tails.
Now you were born in the 40's so I know you have a good foundations and understand that life is valuable and precious. It would seems a good move to allow so many into our country by way of the southern boarder but without stating anything further about that you know full well of the harm that is caused by the way all that transpired. Biden did what he needed to do with stimulating the economy as he did. So you know what was good and bad about so many things that were done regardless who is/was President and as I stated over and over again Trump-o trashed his own second term. I believe he will be elected in November simply because people are hurting so badly. They will give Trump a shot and hope he can make quick changes to our economy but as you know he must be extremely careful in his moves. We are not in a good position and I pray that Trump can do far more clamping of the mouth as he moves forward. I hope the system in general can clean up the extremist on the left and of course on the right.
The border of course must be addressed in a big way regardless of who or what party is running the country.
I believe since we have many countries with dictators that the USA should consider a third term for presidential office or modify the two existing terms.
I do feel that in order to vote in the primary/general elections that positive documentations and US citizenship must be mandatory but to straighten out the existing system we may need to re-register all the US citizens. Also, somehow...make the voting system procedure identical in every state and furthermore synchronization time/voting within a 24 hour period.
