Wowzers.... All i say is that everyone is getting excited
Wowzers.... All i say is that everyone is getting excited about a LETTER (and by everyone i mean the folks here) and the stock price is getting some run to it. My point is we have had numerous times of a 3-4 day run on price based on "news". Everyone gets excited, day traders follow momentum then the bottom falls out on day 5 and everyone gets pissed at MM's, day traders, shorts etc. The company has released PR's, had video CC's, held shareholder CC's that have many times seen this run up with people here in the loop and the "know". Were NP's CC's rumors? Were the SK comments about meeting people and working on partnerships rumors?
My whole point is that there still isnt any concrete foundation under the price rising other than speculation to get in on the ground floor where we are at. The problem is everyone here keeps "Im waiting for funds to transfer", "lowering my average", "this price is ridiculous". You (actually me included in the past) has bought in at times like this on FOMO. Then everyone is pissed when the price falls back, and meanwhile all the shorts and MM's skim off the 30% peak that gets generated each time.
It just looks like to me this is exactly what is happening again but i have a memory longer than a goldfish way way way back in March.
I really doubt that most of the world is reading medical papers that are completely obscure from the general public and frankly even most OTC biotech/medical gearheads. The price isnt rising because dr sacha is sticking some monkeys at this point. There is going to have to be solid info, data etc or some BP is going to have to get the hard data and make a run at us for the price to rise. It rose in covid because we had data and NP was pumping us. It had a small run because the hold was lifted... then nothing changed (that we know of) and the price dropped again. We have had a run with the JL letter and i hope it maintains, but fridays have many times seen the fall from the cliff on these small runs.
But i guess i'm the only one that remembers buying on these blips of FOMO only to be down 25% on my most recent buy because the bottom fell out.
what will provide the price support when all the day traders try to capitalize on their 25% gain? In the past it has be us here most likely and we dont have the deep pockets to fight those guys and the shorts. Only when data and an actual partnership comes about will this happen IMO. Is JL savvy enough to use words like "very near future" knowing that implies somewhere between tomorrow and Q4/2024. What does the very near future mean in the world of biotech 10-12 year paths to approval?
Everyone just needs to relax their sphincters.
