I completely agree with you. I find MGK’s long dissertations very informative. I know some of it is speculation (and he admits it’s just his hunch), but he backs up his arguments with actual events that occurred.
I also go to Reddit to read his postings. I don’t have an account but browse any information about LL that are posted there.
