There seems to be this belief, not sure how widespread, that Kraig Biocraft is not very well known outside of a couple of message boards, company insiders, few investors, etc. I think this ‘belief’ is completely wrong-headed. Among the everyday guys and gals, we may not be very well-known, but within the fabric community, I believe we are very, VERY, well known. Now, fabric is not only about fashion and/or clothing. It takes in a lot more. Don’t misunderstand, there’s mucho dinero in fashion and clothing; e.g. - Jeff Dorton and Under Armor to name two. No way has Kraig achieved the things they have achieved in Vietnam w/o the full knowledge and understanding of the US Gov’t is another example. Just b/c we have not generated headlines in the NY Times does NOT mean we are an unknown quantity.
And, again, I’ll speak to the NASDAQ. When, not if, we move to the Naz, there are hordes of institutional investors waiting in the wings. By that time we will have already announced mass production and most probably w/ a well known name. Investors will know who we are. Investment houses cannot buy into the OTC, as I understand it. Kim is well aware of the pitfalls of the OTC, including the posters w/ an axe to grind for whatever reason. After the news is out, everybody and their brother will want in as an investor and as a customer. That is the specific reason Kim has been so meticulous in providing a rock-solid (presumably) and far-reaching infrastructure. He has to be ready to meet demand.
As I have alluded to on many occasions, our CEO Thompson talks to a lotta folks. He’s a lawyer, for god’s sake. You think this guy can’t ‘talk the talk’? He’s been at this for 16 yrs. Over and above NDAs, which I am sure are in effect w/ a number of parties, Kim has had conversations w/ many. Corporate intelligence, the proverbial grapevine, is a very real thing and do not doubt it for a second. The quest for large scale production of spider silk has been an historic ‘pipe dream’ for millenia. ALL have failed, except one, Kraig Biocraft. Goat-herder Mr. Lewis being one of most recent. And very soon, our CEO will be ‘walking the walk’. That’s all I’m saying.
