I'm just saying that according to that quoted text, he had significant experience working with/at the fda. He may have learned a few things or saw a few things that he has remained silent about.
i'd say he could use that to his advantage if push came to shove, when the time comes to decide his fate in the current sec/doj trial, that he negotiate with the prosecutors that if he is not acquitted of these charges, he will flip and disclose everything including what he knows at the fda.
if the authority gets word, then, to save their own face, they may just recommend that the charges are dismissed.
