With billions of dollars for each indication and a drug industry that spends lavishly on lobbying, can you possibly imagine the power of being a person who says which drugs get approval? How couldn't corruption happen in that system?
We didn't cause them to "circle the wagons", they were already circled with the opioid crisis and then the DOD enlisting BP to help with bio terrorism after 9/11, this was a major corrupt industry already.
What happened to us IMO is an HIV drug, that BP had in check, was given to Covid patients who got better. We ran into, by accident, the Pandemic and became a threat to whole bunch of people making a whole bunch of money.
