You see these TV commercials where it says "Scan the QR Code to do X"
By the time you get your phone out and bring up the camera, the commercial is over. Shoot, now I can't buy that George Foreman grill!!!
I was thinking, I'm not going to run over to my TV which is 10-12 feet away.
For the heck of it, I tried to scan a QR code from my phone today from that distance and surprised it DID work. I would guess most people wouldn't know or have an older phone & camera.
As more people get used to projecting / Chromecast from their mobile devices to a TV, some of those problems go away but that would be super irritating if the show stopped and took you to another web page.
