The FDA almost always buckles on pressure from outside lobbyist agents/agencies...when it comes to apparent patient death sentences...
Anyone facing their mortality would look to anything that might help their condition...perhaps couched in the optionality of " Right To Try "...as long as it is safer/better than their current nightmarish condition...
Some might say, given the prognosis "what the Hell"...how can it hurt...
Unfortunately politics and liability...cast a shroud...over anything that might espouse a possible remedy.
