This Inflammation trial cydy is doing soon could be huge once the results are analyzed.

The researchers believe that increasing calcium uptake by the mitochondrial macrophages could prevent the harmful inflammation and its terrible effects. Because macrophages reside in all organs of our bodies, including the brain, targeting such “tissue-resident macrophages” with appropriate drugs may allow us to slow age-associated neurodegenerative diseases.

You may say "But ohm haven't you said that leronlimab decreases CA2+ (calcium). Indeed it does but the decrease is in intracellular calcium that hasn't been taken up by cells yet. Leronlimab can help repair mitochondrial dysfunction so that CA2+ may not be intracellular because it has been taken up by the cells. What may give us a clue is in the original paper. With lesser uptake of CA2+ you see an upregulation of NF-kb which is also downregulated by leronlimab.

We show that in both human and mouse macrophages, reduced mCa2+ uptake amplifies cytosolic Ca2+ oscillations and potentiates downstream nuclear factor kappa B activation
