Did we miss this bombshell ??? Apologies to M4

Apologies to M4N. I did overlook this the first time you published it. Totally dropped the ball. Ouch!
Combine this w/ the press release today and, yes, it is possible CEO Thompson may have obliquely dropped a huge bombshell ever so quietly; right before the Easter weekend when no one was expecting anything. Replacing plastics w/ biodegradable silk proteins? Good grief. That’s beyond huge.
Again, to M4N, mea culpa …

The biodegradable plastics could be what has the biggest impact. If they can make a plastic that is biodegradable out of spider silk, manufacturers would tripping over themselves to be bragging about that. https://blog.nature.org/2019/01/15/could-spider-silk-become-a-natural-replacement-for-plastic/
This is so much fun to watch an emerging giant; to change an industry that has not seen this kind of a transformation in more than, what?, 6,000 years? We have a front row seat. Never mind the catcalling from the cheap seats. We know better. It’s extraordinary. After this Easter weekend I suspect the fireworks will begin in earnest. You probably already know it but I’ll remind you anyway.

THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.
