VERB's CEO Addresses Stockholders in Year-End Letter
DECEMBER 27, 2023 9:30AM EST

"share price has very little to do with the value a strategic buyer places on the business in a sale . Accordingly, while we have virtually no control over market conditions and the share price, we do have control over the intrinsic value we are creating as evidenced by the long list of achievements detailed above. As such, we believe our long-term investors may have an opportunity to generate returns that are not reflected in the share price alone. "
To generate returns, you either need the sp to go significantly up, be paid a nice dividend or the company is sold. In this case I believe it's the company being sold.
Conspiracy Theories #2: The company is being sold for $0.34 or a $1
That's a funny one and makes zero sense. If it was true, why would VERB have gone through a capital raise that was actually quite impressive as the CEO himself was able to do some of the raise without a middleman, without commissions and without warrants.
I do subscribe to the theory that almost anything is for sale, at anytime, at the right price...
but $0.34 or a $1 isn't the right price.
We know Talkshoplive was valued at $81M last fall

We know PopShopLive that CommentSold bought had a valuation of $100M in 2021

By 2021, the company had a valuation of around $100 million

But the most interesting is the valuation of CommentSold which some VERB investors believe Market.Live is X times better and has more potential.
Investors should go ahead and google: CommentSold Valuation
Remember CommentSold didn't even have a Direct to Consumer platform until they bought PopShopLive (stupid name) last August. If you like Hello Kitty, I'm sure PopShop is great!
