Tender Offer: a public offer to buy not less than a specified number of shares of a stock at a fixed price from stockholders usually in an attempt to gain control of the issuing company
I guess the offering wouldn’t be this because it wasn’t a public offer, I wonder if they can “take control” but not merge or buyout. So it is still VERB stock but they have majority shares and it stays VERB. Depending on what the entity is the stock price would skyrocket
