My point is it is a shame, but he was involved with cydy during the NP years. As much as he was championing the right thing he was around and his name will show up in meeting minutes, etc. He has to be on his A game to make sure that the NP odor is not connected to him. As much as we believe it, it doesnt make someone at the FDA looking for a reason to deny look at the nuance of JL being a much better guy than NP. It will always be in the back of anyone involved head unless they had side conversations and could see through it all, but i doubt the FDA folks are interested in "seeing through it all".
Fact is it is safer for their jobs to let people die. They frankly have done it and are doing it. Its not very dark, its stating a fact.
They are JUST. DOING. THEIR. JOB!.... and that is the pitfall of a humongous of beaurocracy. No one wants to stick their head up and do the right thing if it means no promotion or not complying with rule 143.565.431 para (b) subpara iii
