To put some perspective on the continuing COVID19 deaths…during the Revolutionary Way roughly 6,800 were killed in battle, and 17,000 died from disease. Similar story in the Civil War, several fold more died from disease than the sword or gun. Infectious disease kills even in an era of modern medicine. Still, the Leronlimab study involving the critically ill sub population suggests these numbers could be brought down significantly…93,000 Covid deaths a year just in the U.S. is a big number…68,000 US servicemen died in the entire Vietnam War…both tragic and preventable but we are putting more people 6 feet under every year from COVID19 than we lost in that entire war.
This is to say nothing of the morbidity…I feel for your troubles docj…hopefully we can get this drug out of vials and into arms soon where it can do some good.
