Sorry, but the Bill that The GOP and the Dems in the Senate got together on addressed the border more toughly than anything proposed in decades. Trump scuttled it, House refused to consider it, so you don't have a leg to stand on.
Those are facts and it will be easy for Dems to campaign on them. GOP doesn't want to fix anything, be it roads and bridges or borders.
