quote]And what do you suppose that Trump could do about that?[/quote]

I think that going back immigration policies that worked in the past would go a long way in keeping a lid on rising crime in all states.

Quote:
Below is the law office’s ranking of the top 10 states with the highest rates of violent crime for 2020:

Alaska
New Mexico
Tennessee
Arkansas
Louisiana
Missouri
South Carolina
South Dakota
Arizona
Michigan

Let's compare oranges to oranges and not to kumquats. In South Carolina, as well as some other states, you can be arrested and jailed for things that wouldn't even spark an investigation in some, maybe all, of the dimmy states. For example, shop lifting arrests can, in some cases, ignite a storm of violence that can leave many a cop injured. In California, criminals are allowed to march out of store doors if their haul is less than a thousand bucks.......... And to add insult to injury, if a company gets tired of this crap and closes one or more of their stores due to massive losses, they are then subject to being called racist for shutting down and moving their stores......... I think a better comparison would be crime vs. crime and by that I mean let's compare muggings to muggings, burglaries to burglaries, shootings to shootings, etc.

But more guns would help, right?

No doubt

Quote:
In terms of counties, Dillon County had both the highest rates of violent and property crime in SLED’s report. Edgefield County had the lowest rates in both categories, but also had the highest increase in violent crime from 2021 to 2022.

I'm not sure about Edgefield County, the birthplace William Barrett Travis, Gen. James Longstreet, and Strom Thurmond, but Dillon County is Dimmy to the core and counties that are dimmy to the core will usually be at least a wee bit more violent than the neighboring counties. Consider Cook County Illinois, for example, they've been voting hard core dimmy there for years and gun violence is off the charts.

Why is so very much of what you believe not supported by facts?

I have no problem whatsoever with facts. I do, however, have a problem with facts that come librully slathered in a thick fecal coating.
