Snpw exercised a reverse split to decrease the outstanding shares and to increase the authorized back 10 1 billion shares, net result snpw has a new stash of shares totaling 997m. They did this to use the 997m new shares. It doesn’t matter if it to build a new factory or to use as collateral. It simply doesn’t matter to shareholders pre split. Impact is the same.
Your thinking is that if it really exciting to potentially announce a new factory, and the share count isn’t increased, the stock float of a quarter million will skyrocket. Investors realize the reverse was used for a reason.
