It was a good deal and car. Fyi ...don't have a place to park one for parts. Live in a apartment after 30 years of marriage and divorce. Otherwise I would have and at that point had all the tools and area to work on it myself. I ran a service station garage for 5 years. In one of my past lives before Jimmy Carter.
Live a simple life now...fixed income. 15 years ago I probably won't go to a dollar store. However few things ...very few. You can save a buck on. I also buy very little retail. Shop at Goodwill and the Restore. One man's garbage, can be another man's treasure.with a little elbow grease and a ability to fix things.
Like GF was looking for a birthday card. She spent $8 at a retail store. Dollar store it would have cost her $1.25. In my book that $6.75 is better staying in my pocket.

I don't chase the world anymore...no need. Got rid of that problem 12 years ago...found a simple girl.
