I believe a study was done going back and reviewing the slides of the long term survivors of pancreatic cancer. What was found was that a high percentage were found to have been misdiagnosed and actually had chronic pancreatitis and not cancer. So pancreatic cancer has no significant survival unless you have a lousy pathology department making the wrong call. That was my understanding.
