$LBYE - The Bastrop County Asset
Liberty Energy has secured a 100% working interest on approximately 300 acres in Bastrop County, Texas. We aim to target the Dale Lime, Austin Chalk, Buda and Edwards producing zones which can be found throughout Bastrop County. Typically there are 5 acre spacing for well bores in this region providing up to 60 potential drill locations.
Oil and Gas production in Bastrop County is primarily from the Dale Lime, Austin Chalk, Buda and Edwards (see Columnar Sections Graph attached). The county has structures influenced by once active volcanic mounds. The Dale Lime is above the Austin Chalk and is separated by serpentine plugs from the mounds. 1 The Eagle Ford has long been considered the “source rock” for hydrocarbons that are now found in the Austin Chalk formation across much of South Texas.
