MediPendant
The MediPendant is our premiere medical alarm product. It is the first monitored two-way voice speakerphone pendant with an enhanced range of 600 feet with superior RF capabilities. The MediPendant can be worn as a neck pendant or wristband.
MediPendant is the only pendant that will allow a certified care specialist to connect in your loved ones for three-way conferencing so you may talk to them along with the specialist.
Once you have pressed the large button on the pendant, a phone call is made to the certified care specialist who then will immediately dispatch medical personnel or a loved one to your location. They will also contact anyone you have listed on your custom call list.
Medicaid Eligible
The objective of a Personal Emergency Response (PERS) is to provide participants with 24-hour monitoring and live phone contact in the event of an emergency or urgent concern. The services will provide the ability to initiate alerts for safety and emergencies manually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
Reimbursement for the PERS service includes monthly monitoring. These reimbursements are inclusive of all equipment, installation and training on it’s use and care while the equipment is in the participant’s home. These also include all visits or calls made to the home to follow-up with participants and/or caregivers, phone calls made that are necessary while the participant is receiving the PERS service and equipment removal when the service is no longer authorized for the participant. The service is fully covered under current Medicaid reimbursement rate. Subject to state-by-state approval.

$MDHI On February 25, 2013, the Company signed a supply and services contract with Coventry Health Care, Inc., (NYSE: CVH) 8-K Under the terms of the agreement, Coventry Health Care, Inc. will offer the Company’s MediPendant® product and monthly monitoring services to subscribers of selected healthcare programs provided by Coventry.
Additionally, the Company’s MediPendant® product has been, or may be, included in their dual demonstration programs (Medicare and Medicaid) related contracts on which Coventry Health Care, Inc. may bid.
