So, you're concerned about billionaires why exactly? When there was a marginal tax rate above 90% in the 50's we started building the national highway system, NASA was begun and we were armed to the teeth to deter the Soviet Union.
Paying down the debt, cracking down on tax cheats and putting money in the hands of people who of NECESSITY spend it are better than a $2T tax cut for the wealthy that did NOT trickle down.
It's called a progressive tax system for a reason, rates have historically been higher on the wealthy, ditto for the States. Tax money from your prosperous state is redistributed to Salty's state, as well as many other southern states.
