I have no idea what happened
presumably Bret and his 2 lawyers agreed w that NNLX position
many Mr murphy events could have happened-starting w the possibility that not all 3 signed off on the report before it was released
not long after Brets super lawyer brother came on board w an impressive resume and superlative official title
anything could have happened to any of those 3- from physical (as in Brets later heart attack) to mental exhaustion at the never ending unsuccessful battle to raise substantial funds etc to the famous 'me me me' syndrome which has increasingly captured people after WW2, to distractions -family or business problems which arose
as somebody who survived a cult nobody else is known to survive ( I never chose it - i was born into it) I am very aware of the Mr Murphy game and the unlimited problems Murphy can manifest- it never stops -and practically nobody is capable of fighting those battles for long- not even leaders are- who call on me to fight those battles for them-and i successfully do - only to have them give up due to exhaustion after i win the battles for them
unfortunately humanoids are presently very primitive, weak and lazy and almost always fall for the traps the cults /Mr Murphy present every day!
All good guys I personally know are going thru or have failed that process -even hardened secular humanists- that is the NORM- but most people know nothing about these things - so when a startup company fails to breakthrough the numerous barriers the longs are confused or angry or etc
my best friend who dragged me into otc stocks beat the odds for 6 months but the week he succeeded in getting me in the otc market began changing rapidly due to the anti stock anti busniess anti america political figure i mentioned who wanted to eliminate business, "because ALL business [and stocks] is/are evil"
he discovered big business had too much financial and political capital to defeat so he greenlighted the destruction of the otc market where companies rarely had much political or financial capital to fight back
many laws were broken system wide to destroy longs interests during the following years of the greatest thievery ever - i and others in the know were amazed at the widespread violation of basic laws in support of that effort
this last elimination in a SERIES of eliminations of otc stocks-at least followed the basic procedures of due process and notice during the 2 plus years of the rule changes
most true penny companies know little about these political forces which brought about these changes and NNLX couldnt raise the funds most of the time
the 150k mentioned as already raised in one NNLX fundraising initiative was probably conditional upon certain parameters being met going forward - which probably were not met-and thus such funds probably held in trust probably had to be returned to the individual donors, many of whom were doctors as per NNLX statement
you are asking for inside knowledge of which i have none- but logic was my best subject in school and I 'm good at connecting the dots - but cant provide the certainty you want because we were given no info re what went wrong-
they - from a reading of the release at the time it was released- intended on following through - but something intervened- of which i've given examples-reading the release
bret might not be the only one of the 3 brothers who had a debilitating physical episode
ppl could do obit searches in proper databases in the counties where the 3 brothers lived- but of course obits only reveal when somebody has received the final insult of these flesh and blood bodies -
the attacks many of these startups go through to survive are often very similar to attacks by cults who target every good person within their jurisdiction - everywhere i go i am the last good person standing - almost everybody falls prey to the cults all consuming Mr Murphy well worn well practiced process of destruction/capture
ITS THE NORM- its not the exception - but ppl who are totally unaware of the process and the war obviously cannot fight the battle- i dont know how ppl could be so blind but they are and fail to learn about the process, let alone survive it-
so when a startup succumbs to the process as over 90% do, they are angry or in disbelief or denial etc - all of the steps you can predictably find in psychology books
as i've said lawyers advise their clients to stay silent-especially when the battle enters the legal arena-and so, if advice is folowed- that guarantees we dont learn what happened unless the legal battle etc is over or advice permits a redacted release - or one or more of the principals joins the Mr Murphy crowd and joins the paid mob running through the streets, shouting ," Murder and mayhem"
that doesn't always even work- the portland mayor kept defending such paid crowds and joined them, only to have them beat him up also - you cant negotiate w such an adversary- they seek destruction as w the houthis -opponents power doesnt dissuade them- they know from history they will eventually win by the numbers(absent intervention) bc they know thier adversaries are deaf dumb blind and mute re this battle- which is why when the us military wins the physical war -they lose the spiritual battle - almost being totally blind of such- good guys are going to have to grow up- if you dont recognize you are in a war or who the adversary is and dont have defensive and offensive weapons - you cant win the fight
the open warfare in congress is not even enough to open most ppls eyes- what does it take!!
and this board has been especially hostile re such a subject in the past
