"Sure, Donald won Iowa, but almost 50% of Republican voters who bothered to show up for the caucus chose someone else. And in case you think all these voters would turn around and vote for Donald in the general election if he’s the nominee, note this: almost half of Haley’s supporters say they would vote for Biden over Trump, according to a new poll."
Another reason not to panic, Mary Trump said, is that "it's Iowa."
"Even The New York Times had to admit that Iowa isn’t much of a big deal, explaining that 'the results in solidly red Iowa don’t offer meaningful clues for the 2024 general election,'" she wrote. "Why, yes. Iowa’s population is barely over 3 million people, and it’s 85% white."
