Short Summary - January 16.
A pivotal day for $SFLM with the last of the walked down asks at .0004 - put up by 1-tick flipper(s) on January 5 - 34.5M then - bought out.
Unfortunately, there was a major problem with E*TradePro today with the Market Depth showing extant bids and asks not updating after the open all the way to the close. This meant that - apart from close followers here and on 'X", those bidding the peak of 235M at .0003 didn't realize the .0004s had been bought out in just 5 seconds and that they would need to grab .0005s before they were gone. The problem was reported to E*Trade but unresolved by the close. It is possible to extract the correct figures from etrade.com.
Key points today:
- Presumed opened as at the close January 12 - 229.8M .0003 x 24.9M left at .0004.
- Scammer did a paint down of 24,996 shares at .0003 from an order placed before the open.
- Early buys of 3 x 1M and 250K in miscellaneous small buys at .0004.
- Further ask buys of almost 34M at .0004 - with parallel buys of 9.25M at .0003 - for a total of 43M+ in just 5 individual seconds.
- .0004 ask was gone with a bid balance of 2.3M and . 0005s were up with only 25.5M there - only 1.3M more than the level it was bought down to last time - despite 48.4M being bought today.
- A 2M buy was attempted to start the .0005s but was filled at .00045.
- Closed likely 190M > 230M .0003 + 2.3M .0004 x 25.5M left at .0005.
- Overall, 48.1M traded - the majority at .0004.
Traders need to note that every 1M sold at .0005 instead of .01 is throwing away $9.5K in profit and throwing away $19.5K at .02!
