ADHC - From the latest news
Recent reports from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have indicated a 300% increase in serious injuries and deaths associated with Drug complications. Death have risen from 5,500 to over 15,000 over a recent 7 year period and almost 500,000 serious prescription drug complications were reported. "Patients prescribed drugs by their Medical Doctor may not know realize that serious complications can result from taking a second prescription medication. Additionally combining prescribed drugs with 'Over The Counter' medications, eating certain food and beverages or taking street drugs can have serious harmful effects on the patient," Commented ADHC. "The focus of our mobile health care app 'Drug Check' is to cross reference prescribed medications with other prescription drugs, foods or beverages, street drugs or over the 'Over-The-Counter' products to alert patients of potential harmful complications." ADHC is working with our Software developers and other professionals in the pharmacology arena to design the "Drug Check" mHealth mobile app to be downloadable onto most common handheld devices. Initial development prototypes would allow a patient to type in the medication they have been prescribed and a list of potentially harmful secondary drugs, foods or OTC medications will be listed with instructions to contact their physicians to before taking the drug.
American Diversified Holdings Corporation (PINKSHEETS: ADHC) announced today that it is developing a smart phone application designed to identify harmful drug interactions. The application has been preliminarily named "Drug Check."
