CommentSold really didn't have a marketplace like Market.Live that I know of so didn't really compete with Verb directly

They do integrate into Shopify so I guess if that works, you the CEO of your Shopify store can go solo and try to sell your products on your own on your website or other places and hope someone finds you.

They bought Popshoplive in the fall so now have a marketplace of sorts. Popshop was valued at 100M in 2021
