Most advertising is targeted
Back in the day you put an ad in the front, middle or end (sports section) of a newspaper and advertised to everyone in hopes some would respond.
I remember newspapers used to have a TV guide on Sunday and there was this ad saying draw this picture of a deer or something to see of you are an artist and sign up for some art crap. I forget. Was it even connecting some dots?
Maybe applied to 0.00000000000001% but they had to pay for an ad that went to everyone.
With the 'digital world', you smartly spend your money and steer your ads to the audience where you will get the biggest bang for your buck. A lot of people have no clue that is how it works.
Is there anyone here that wants to sell Stanley cups on Tiktok?
If the answer is no AND you saw a Market.Live commercial, than VERB would be throwing their money away, no?
hey red...I'm gonna run up and down my street celebrating I didn't see a Market.Live ad. Thanks for that insight!!!!
Well, I didn't say that.
Did VERB put out a PR to pretend they did, but just ran 1 commercial?
I don't think so. The company they engaged wouldn't waste a second and VERB would even need them to run 1 commercials.
So did they ran an ad campaign?
I don't know, but I would say focus on the outcomes, not the how.
The outcome is...
How many dropshippers did Verb sign up in Q1, Q2, EOY?
While that 'might' be an interesting stat and I like hearing about all the ones they signed up in the fall...
Quality trumps quantity usually.
The thing about TikTok...
You could watch 1 million hours of TV and never see things or the world
Example for people that have TikTok that is just an example of something that popped up for me...

Is what you are missing worth the risk to having a TikTok account?
For you to decide but I bet there will be posts 4 years from now red forced me to sign up to TikTok
Books are good too so no shame not being on social media.
If you only knew how much data you already gave away by being in the internet then...
You'd ship your pants with worry if you didn't know how to quarter your data giveaway.
