Pretty typical for the ambulance chasers to pile on. The business model of some of these firms is "greenmail" -- try to get the company they attack to give them a few hundred thousand to go away.
To be expected when small companies have clinical trial problems.
Let's remember that the REASON the drug didn't achieve statistical significance was that they put less sick people in the placebo group, so the placebo group did better than would be expected, based on historical statistics.
