Tom Cruise is one of, if not the highest paid actors in Hollywood. I seriously doubt that he would offer his services as spokesman for free. I also doubt that ICPA has the resources to be able to hire him in this capacity.
If you read that post, it states that Tom Cruise WOULD make a great spokesman, not that he has agreed TO BE spokesman for ICPA.
I would love to be wrong about this - would be amazing to have someone with his high profile to be a public face for ICPA and raise awareness of the company offerings, bring awareness to the stock etc.
On the other hand, he is a controversial figure. The recent split with Katie Holmes and the rampant speculation as to their "contract" might end up splashing some mud on his reputation. For example... Would you think that John Travolta would make a good spokesman for a company right now?
Still. It's Hollywood, and any publicity is good publicity so who knows lol. Just don't get your hopes up to high. ;-)
