Letter from the Executive Director
Voices for Non-Opioid Choices had a great year in 2023… because we have supporters like you. Because of our collective efforts, we made sure that the White House, Members of Congress, and key agency officials knew what they had to do to prevent opioid addiction in the United States and help is on the way.
Starting in 2025, patients will have unprecedented access to non-opioid pain management approaches. In doing so, patients will have choices in how they manage their pain and we can take steps to prevent opioid addiction in the country.
Our work isn’t finished – 2024 will be another extremely important inflection point for preventing opioid addiction and, in the process, reducing the number of lives lost every day to an opioid-related drug overdose. We need your continued partnership and we look forward to calling on you in the new year.
In the meantime, from the whole team at Voices for Non-Opioid Choices, we wish you a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season. Thank you again for all of your hard work and we look forward to talking with you all again soon.
