Honestly, I was torn. I didn't want to take a wash sale then the hold is lifted and we go to $1-2. The profit (realized or not) would have negated taking the $3000k tax deduction. But Dr. Jay's comments about the hold lift lead me to think we're looking at another month or so, hence I took the risk. If we're still in the .20s in mid January, I will have made the right choice.
If he miraculously announces tomorrow the hold has been lifted and we take off, so be it. I sold a tiny fraction of my shares because I added plenty on the way to $10. So I'll be thrilled for the rest of my shares still waiting to bloom.
