Grip it, the problem with HIV vaccines is that the HIV virus occupies the CCR5 receptor crippling the immune response. Infection triggers an increase in CD4/CCR5 T-cells but they are killed off quickly by HIV reproduction. That cycle greatly decreases the production of CD8 T-cells. So even with an antibody response in place there are few CD8 T-cells. The vaccines may produce a T-cell antibody response until HIV starts it's very rapid reproduction, then there's not enough CD8 T-cells to mount an effective response.

You would first have to use antiretrovirals or leronlimab to knock down the virus or use them as PREP. Since other drugs would carry the load then there's not much for the vaccines to do.
