I confess to being an eternal optimist, BUTT, I doubt JL would gather an audience of investors unless he had some shiny trinkets to dangle in front of them. I suspect JL knows who might be interested in our molecule and found or created an opportunity to showcase his baby.
Although he probably didn't count on the leak, which was promptly cleaned up.
