Now and Then
Post# of 2057
For a more recent view of current activity being performed by someone with a bulldozer or excavator - this three up image via the Sentinel 2 satellite provides three views. Top to bottom, Oct 11, Nov 13th and Nov 22, 2023. The red marks point to areas where new work occurred between successive images.
You may wish to copy the image and move it to a photo viewer to enlarge it but the gist of it is apparent - work is underway at the Santa Elena site . There are other "bright spots" - the comparison tool on the EOS website makes the changes show up better but even in the still it's apparent someone is interested in further exploration. No changes in ponds or pads or in the old blasted areas I call "The Wishbone" . Low res imagery - the best avabl wihtout spending real money on what's now a "curiosity" and a hard lesson in investing.
